We got to Ghent pretty late but it was nice to just stroll around alongside all the canals. It’s like the Venice of the north

we visited the former house of Peter Paul Rubens, the 17th century Baroque painter. His house was turned into museum, with the building and gardens restored.
there was a legend behind this but I can’t remember. It involves the throwing of a foot.
