Bern

These are from a while ago, I think the middle of October? Been crazy busy with schoolwork/too lazy to post, so here begins the photo dump. 

Bern is Switzerland’s capital, located just an hour away from Basel. Even though it’s the fourth most populated city, it felt a lot smaller than the other cities we’ve visited. The town’s very quaint and we were able to walk from one side to the other fairly quickly, even though the geography of the place was pretty uneven. It’s town center was also deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it was home to Albert Einstein while he was developing one of his theories, so says Wikipedia.

Along the street were many wine-cellar-like staircases that actually lead down to more stores. This one was part of a bookstore, where we found plenty o’ books with gorgeous covers dating back to the 1800’s in pristine condition. Plus the bookstore was having a 50% off sale that day. WURD.
