Score One for the Little Guy: Judges Rule New York Towns Can Keep Gas Drillers Out
The town of Dryden, New York officially has the right to ban fracking, (Hydraulic fracturing) a method for extracting oil and natural gas. This is a big win for the little guy in a fight against corporate drilling.
First Michael Hance, now this. It’s getting a little too close to home and it’s scary to think how anything can happen. I know I rag on and joke about being from Ohio, but my heart goes out to those students and the community— I can’t even begin to imagine what they must be feeling.
